Bernardin’s Restaurant @ zevely House

Bernardin's Restaurant is located inside the historic Zevely house at 901 W. Fourth Street. According to the Greensboro News & Record, it is the only 5 star restaurant in the Triad. Bernardin's is quaint, cozy and warm. It is a wonderful restaurant with delightful, decadent food! From cocktails and appetizers to wine and entrees, everything our party of 10 had was simply amazing. The service our group received was outstanding. Enjoy!

Hands down the best restaurant in the triad. Me and the wife have had the pleasure of dining here twice since we found it about a month ago. Both times the service was amazing, food was even better!! The prices may be a little higher than some, but honestly compared to high end restaurants up and down the east coast they are very competitive. And they are miles ahead of most places around here. Even what is considered nice restaurants around the area. I highly recommend trying it out if you haven't. And I recommend the Filet & Lobster , Emu, and Wagyu Sirloin in that order. All to die for!

The service was very good. We went for a post engagement dinner with my fiance's parents. Everyone enjoyed his or her meal. The appetizers were very good. I especially liked the brussel sprouts. I had the bass special for dinner. For dessert, I shared the bread pudding. No raisins! It was great.

Private and cozy atmosphere. Immediate seating in an upstairs room. Service was excellent. Server knowledgeable and attentive. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. I had the special, Lobster, Lobster 1 1/4 lb. Lobster on top of lobster ravioli, excellent choice for me. My husband had the 16 oz rib eye steak in brandy with peppercorns. He loved his meal also. Restaurant highly recommended by us. Visit when you can and enjoy! We had very affordable and generous portions of wine by the glass !

I would go back again for sure. It was exactly what I would expect. Great staff amazing food. I loved all of flavors. We had the escargot which was amazing. So many flavors with mushrooms and had to be fresh herbs. Kept us wanting more. The emu was fabulous. It’s a red meat which is very tender. It has a different flavor but still very good. There were also different textures with the food. Every bit was different full of flavor. There is outdoor seating. Will go back again. I love that I got to try an exotic food that tasted amazing. Can’t wait to try the kangaroo.
