“Staff makes the place great. Great food and always tastes fresh. Some pricey options but there are both cheap and healthy options as well which is incredible. Edit: (3/10/2019) This place is hardly ever actually open 24/7. I work third shift and often would like a healthy option versus McDonald’s at 3am so I come here. I have found this place on numerous occasions (5+) within that last few weeks that it was closed. My three star review is because the food is still great and the staff is always warm and friendly when they are actually open. Not a lot of people care about third shift workers but it’s a point to make since the company competitively advertises 24/7.”

“I'm a big fan of good BBQ. I know everybody has their own opinion of what BBQ is. Let me tell you, in NC... it's pulled pork! I found this little gem by accident, but it proved to be no mistake. I like BBQ when you can taste the flavor of the meat. I like that the BBQ is not drowning in sauce...well that is, unless you want it to be. They have a variety of sauces to choose from to spruce up your Q, my favorite was the sweet apple...on the side...no life preserver for my pig. We met the owner, who was very cordial and personable. He was attentive without being overly so. We will definitely be back here!”

“Great service, clean establishment and excellent food. Five of us ordered five differently meals. So good we all shared a bit of each meal. Everyone was extremely pleased. Home made pasta, salad that was crisp and not wet, fabulous sauces and great bread. Though we were all stuffed (and taking home what we couldn't finish) we ordered a slice of cheesecake to split. The best cheesecake I have had in years. Can't go wrong here and we will be back.”

I hate to mention the servers name, but I think I have too. Her name was Sarah. She definitely forgot our table. I was highly disappointed. This locally owned restaurant serves outstanding food. Their menu is creative and varied. You can order sandwiches, delicious create-your-own homemade pastas, generous and tasty entrees, and interesting salads. The management and servers are friendly and determined to make your dining experience a great one.”

“I honestly never call back to complain anywhere! I was so disappointed after going through the drive through after a very long day and getting the 3 wing dinner with 2 sides and a drink...I get all the way home and I had no biscuit which I had convinced Myself I could have since I had been working so hard that day, no utensils, napkins or straw for my drink and to top it off they only gave me 2 wings! But I called up there and the lady was very nice who I talked to and said I could come get an entire new order of my meal. I did just that, she had my meal ready in seconds and she put the best biscuit I ever had from there in my meal and to make it even better she threw in an extra wing so I had 4! I wish I had got her name to give her a shout out! We all make mistakes but it’s how we fix them that matters! Thanks, I immensely enjoyed my meal!”

“Zito! Pizzeria and Grill recently reopened after a traumatic accident. And they have emerged stronger than ever. The pizza I enjoyed last night was excellent. Both the dough and the sauce are patently house made and delicious. The crust was tasty and soft and the sauce was bright and fresh. The toppings were also excellent, but you know me, I could always use more garlic. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and they are dedicated to their customers’ satisfaction. They seem to be genuinely good people. “Zito” in Greek means “live long”, and that is my wish for them as they move on and navigate in the wake of the tragedy that befell them.”

“I've been eating at the Carriage House since I was a child in the 1980's. It's certainly not the same place, but some things remain a constant: the relish tray and crock of cheese spread(though it's no longer complimentary and considerably smaller), is still a must have on the table. The chicken parmesan is still unique and delicious. I miss the decor and feel of the original location but the taste of the marinated beef strips or the sirloin tips brings the nostalgia rushing back!”
