“BBQ Barn is a down to earth small town eatery. We were just passing through on our way to Asheville from Richmond to get gas. Saw it it my peripherals and walked on over. Basic menu, but very large. You can tell this is a hot spot for the locals. Reminded me of my own small hometown favorites with a southern flare :)”

“Home cooked food (comfort food), daily plate specials. Lots of seating, quick service. Very friendly people working here. This is one of my new favorite places. Also like the Durham location but much more parking and seating here. Prices are almost as good as fast food prices but this is home cooked comfort food that is really good. Have had fried chicken, fried fish, country style steak, pork BBQ ribs (pieces). All were very good. Biggest problem is deciding on what to get as all are very good. Good sized portions and great value. Can't wait to go again”

“Normally its an awesome place. Food id usually hot. Fresh. And timely. Not the usual staff tuesday. Young male waiter talked hateful. When asked for a large draft he brought a small. When told request was for large his response was they are not on special very cocky. Our response was we still want the large and he huffed off. First time we had this kind of service. Next time if he is the only waiter we leave.”
