“Felt like having sushi delivered for lunch at work and decided I'd try this place. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be enough because the photo previews made the rolls look small, but I was pleasantly surprised. The salmon avocado rolls were delicious and well-portioned. Usually, I'm overwhelmed with how much rice sushi comes in, at many other restaurants and grocery stores, but this was the most minimal around. And generous helpings of salmon chunks stuffed each piece which left me feeling very satisfied. I also ordered tuna sashimi which came sliced in large chunks as well. Very yummy. Miso soup was in line with what you would typically get anywhere. Overall, I was very satisfied with it! I'd eat here again.”

“I was so excited to see an Indian place downtown! I got the non-veg combo, which was super tasty. If you're wondering how spicy it is, I asked and was told mild to medium. I love spicy things, but have a low tolerance so I always go with mild spiciness. This food was spicier than what I usually get with 'mild' orders, but had a good balance of spiciness - my mouth was tingling and my nose ran a bit, but I didn't cry.”

“First visit to Kau. Went with friends that have raved about it. Nice place...a bit hard to find the first time you go but a nice setting. I can see the potential of it evolving into a very popular place. The food assortment was great. Sometimes restaurants are a hit or miss. Last night was a miss. Our waitress was horrible. Brought the food to the table and then disappeared for the entire time we were eating. I was looking for her to tell her my mashed potatoes were cold and I would like some hot ones but she was no where that we could see her. She finally showed up after we had finished and I told her that my mashed potatoes were cold and she said, "OK." That's it. She did not deserve a tip but we left her a minimal 15%. Where they found this waitress is beyond me but she is not doing Kau a favor by working there. BTW...our friends complained about service as well.”
