Scratch Fried Chicken

Chicken here - very tasty. Don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. The service was very welcoming and sociable. This place has a great atmosphere.

The fried chicken is FANTASTIC! The restaurant was very clean and neat. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quickly answered all questions about their menu. I had the double fried chicken with garlic and herb dry rub. The chicken is cooked to order here... not drying out under a heat lamp...so after a short wait my chicken arrived freshly cooked, juicy, extremely crispy, and absolutely delicious. I was also happy to find that the chicken did NOT arrive soaking in a puddle of grease like it does in many chicken joints. The sides are tasty as well and are worthy to share a plate with such a scrumptious main dish. Scratch also offers rotisserie chicken, chicken sandwiches, and chicken wings with a variety of sauce options. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to SCRATCH.

Small but well positioned and Tasty! Great spot to go after a movie across the street. The chicken and waffles were pretty good and guy behind the counter seemed to be a customer service enthusiast. Note to self...I'll be back.

The best Nashville Hot Chicken I've had outside of Tennessee. The stuff is fantastic - salty, hot, and delicious. The twice fried chicken is FANTASTIC. Why aren't there 300 people crammed into this place? It's that good.

Just a quick heads up: they no longer make or serve donuts. The restaurant focuses on chicken and the associated fixings.

We stopped by here the other day! The place is small but the food is Amazing. I definitely will be going here again. Best Chicken & Waffles in the Area for sure.
