Mac's Speed Shop

On A road trip craving BBQ saw this place and was very impressed with place very nice people was greeted and shown to my table fast my waiter Kristy was very inventive on taking my order. The food was was amazing would recommend this this place. When pass through Greensboro North Carolina ????????????????????

The wife and I along with another couple visited to watch the Duke)Carolina game and get a few drinks, ended up eating because we were seated so quickly even with a large crowd. Food was amazing and as I said the service was quick and exceptional. Will definitely return.

Okay so we were at the grasshopper game and needed something to eat that was open late and not fast food. Just so happen to find Mac’s (we aren’t from the area). Got there and there was live music which was loud but sounded good. The staff was very nice-some of the best service I’ve ever gotten honestly. The fried pickles and cracklings were delicious and the honey butter with the hush puppies had my whole family talking about how good it was. We all got different items! Everything was flavorful and very fair portions! The glasses for drinks are huge and so that helps to not always need a refill!
The atmosphere was great-very college-y but nonetheless my entire family had a great time!

Love the environment. The beer selection is good but with so many taps I would add more variety. I only had the ribs, and they were dry and very salty. I feel like the food could have been an off day maybe. Not a terrible experience, but maybe a little more attention to details and this place is really cool. Ill check back soon.

Mac's can be a bit of a hit or miss. We have had some excellent dining experiences and we experienced lost orders and too long of wait times. Experience has been the same with servers, GREAT, and...not so much.

We keep going back because they offer convenient parking for our motorcycles and have a great environment that includes a large outdoor seating area (albeit a little too open and close to the road).
