“THE BEST mom and pop hot dog operation around! I've been going here since I was a kid. A couple things you should know before going are that (1) they accept CASH ONLY and (2) they only serve Hot Dogs and Ice Cream. This place has been here forever. When you want a good hot dog and some great ice cream, this is definitely the place to go! PS...the ice cream to try... Mint Chocolate Chip! “This is a really good place. Their Chicago dogs are as good as any I've had in Chicago. They have a good selection of craft beers too. The one I wanted was sold out but the one I got wasn't bad. I would go back if I lived in town. They took good care of us with a large party and had no problems getting us in. The price is very good for what you get too.”

“The Best Barbecue!! I was born & raised in Greensboro, and I've been all around the US (Navy vet). To me, there is no barbecue better than Stamey's. I now live in Virginia Beach, and to me, there is no barbecue place here that comes even close to making barbecue (NC style) as good as them. “This place was great - vibe was cool, outdoor seating, bar etc. The food was awesome too - had to get a side of corned beef hash, and gotta say, if you're here you have to try it. It's definitely popular so I would anticipate a little wait - I went on a Thursday morning and there was still a big crowd. We met here for a girl’s breakfast yesterday. What a great spot! We sat outside and all had different breakfast dishes-everything was great! I would recommend this place to anyone in Greensboro!”

“I used to stop before 6am at least once/week on my way to work and pick up a sandwich for lunch, but their neon "open" sign hasn't been on for at least a couple of weeks so I haven't stopped---mainly because I see a lot of sketchy clientele and cops there who don't ever seem to go inside. If you turn the open sign back on, me (and my Glock) will once again patronize because it's quick, convenient, and one of the only places open all the time for a freshly made sub. ????”

I loved the pizza crust...very chewy and flavorful. Our server was very attentive. We’ll definitely be back!! Went for the first time with my college aged son.
