“The burger was good but, I usually order my burger cooked with A-1 on the patty. The cook refused to cook it that way. This was the first time I had ever been told it couldn't be cooked that way. I have eaten at many Hwy 55's before. The only time I have been told they could not cook it that way was when they were out of A-1. I had to add it to my burger myself. The A-1 was given to me on the side. It was a big waste of sauce because it was given to me in a cup that literally held almost 10 times what was needed on the Patty when it was cooked. Besides it is just not quit the same taste when added after the fact. This would have been a very excellent burger but it was missing the one extra thing that would put it over the top.”

“Had lunch here and I must say it was delicious. Now I will say the hostess wasn't all that inviting but the food made up for that. I ordered the Bento box and chose sesame chicken which was great. My son orders the chicken and shrimp hibachi and he really enjoyed it. One thing that really surprised me is that they weren't stingy with their white sauce, the give you a full bottle to use at your leisure. Other restaurants charge quite a bit for extra sauce.”

“I've been looking for real Mexican food since I moved out here 7 years ago. This is it. If you want a nice sit-down place with tableside chips and guacamole, ambiance and margaritas, LOOK ELSEWHERE. English is a maybe, the napkins are rolls of paper towels and the tables wobble. The food is great and that's what matters. If you want authentic food and don't care about reading a menu or using paper towels, this is the place. And at under $2 a taco, it's not bad price wise.”

“Took them about 30 minutes to get me a mug of beer despite several reminders while everyone else at the table got theirs within 5 minutes. We were in a large group, yes, but we were just about the only people in the whole restaurant. Food-wise, it's alright. I mean, it's a Hooters. The Cajun wings are WAY overdone on the seasoning (I had no idea that was even possible) and the Parmesan Garlic wings were too light on the Garlic. Decent, worth the 10 bucks, and the staff (while a bit slow) were nice.”
