The portions were generous and the atmosphere was friendly and casual. Our server Danielle was delightful! Her upbeat and welcoming demeanor further enhanced our dining experience! “We were rushed out the door. We decided to try Sammio's restaurant over the weekend. Although there were a few customers, no way was it busy. Upon arrival we were seated by the host. After about 4 minutes our server came by for our drink order. We also ordered a sampler plate of potato skins, cheese sticks and onion rings. We had a long wait before getting it. And then it was just potato skins and nothing else. We waited so long for our entrees I was ready to leave. My friend ordered the fried flounder. And she said ' this is wonderful food.' I tried the lasagna and it was great. Our drinks (sodas) were refilled often. The host approached saying 'he wasn't trying to rush us but would we like take home containers. I stopped eating and just packed up my meal. We decided on dessert and I got ice cream. About half way through eating the host comes over to ask if I wanted a to-go box for it. I said 'well it's ice cream so no I don't want a box.' After that we decided to go. All during the meal he would just stare at me. It was creepy and unnerving. I gave the place 3 stars for the food. But nothing else.”
