“This is sort of a plain dinner in Angier. When I visited last week they didn't have their liquor license, so no beer. A couple of months ago I had the patty melt. It was bad -- the cheese was undetectable. No melt in the patty melt. On my most recent visit I got the Philly sandwich. This was very tasty! For the side I got the seasoned fries, which I would recommend over the regular fries. I'm told the Rueben is very good and others liked their catfish.”

“We tried Chopsticks two nights in a row. The first night service and food were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and everything came out as ordered. The second night was a different story. Overall service was friendly but a bit on the slow side. One of the dishes ordered came out cold, one dish came out wrong and the Hibachi Tofu had a piece of actual chicken mixed in with the tofu. The sesame chicken and the dumplings were the highlight of the meal.”

I have been to this establishment multiple times, and there is one employee specifically, who when working, makes my visit that much more enjoyable. Her name is Alyssa, she is a manager, and she really knows how to treat her customers. She goes above & beyond to ensure my satisfaction each and every time. “My wife and I having been coming to this diner for the past few years, and we have always found the food, staff and atmosphere to be fabulous. The food is plentiful, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Yesterday I tried their chocolate pie for the first time, and it took me back to the days when my mom would make chocolate pies. This pie was the closest to my mom's I have ever tasted, and she passed in 2012. I even got me a slice to go, which is unheard of for me. For simple food and a down home feel, I highly recommend this diner.”

“This is pretty decent standard Chinese food. Have had their General Tso combo, their steamed and fried dumplings and the wife loves their rice noodles. Haven't tried any other Chinese food in town so not sure how it compares there but compared to about every other Chinese restaurant I've been to, it's right on the money.”
