“Absolutely love this place! You can't beat the atmosphere. A big patio overlooking the Cape Fear River. Inside feels really welcoming with murals painted on the walls by a local artist. They had live music the night I was there. The food is fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and great portions. They have a lot of options from apps, salads, sandwiches and pizza. This is a great spot to visit after a day on the river with a kayaking outfitter next door or a great local spot for evening out or weekend brunch!”

“This restaurant is located on a side street off of US 421. I found it while looking for a parking spot with the intention of eating at another restaurant. I decided to give this establishment a try after seeing their daily lunch specials advertised in front of the entrance. I had the daily special and a tea. My meal (including tip) was less than $10. Service was quick and my teriyaki chicken was very good. I was out the door and on my way in less than 30 minutes. It was counter ordering and the meal is brought to my table. Dining area and tabletops were dirty from prior diners or this would have been a 5 star review.”

The restaurant is impeccable, very clean, employees were not only polite, but extremely efficient and in this house the burger is the king and the customers are treated like royalty. Our order was dispatched in less than 5 minutes. A must deserved new restaurant added to the town.”

“Amazing food! We were on our way back from Raven rock state park and had just hiked 5 miles which left us hungry. The cape may burger was fantastic. “Firstly, I want to start off by saying our waitress was Hailey Gardner. When we told her we’d be reviewing she specifically told us her name because there’s multiple. This establishment is outstanding, with it just being opened my expectations were not high. They more than exceeded my expectations. My family and I had Hailey for two nights in a row, on the second day she greeted us with a friendly face and already remembered our orders from the night previous. She had our drinks out fast and the order out faster. The overall aesthetic and atmosphere has changed from the previous locations we have visited but it has only excelled in quality. Many reviews talk about the nostalgic aroma within the facility and I can definitely agree with that. To the reviewers who have bashed them for the wait time, please open your hearts and be more kind. Your reviews came from their very first day open with the lines out to the highway, please be more understanding and empathic. Thank you to the entire staff for making our experience wonderful, we will definitely be regulars and will be telling all of our friends and family to dine in with you all.
