Whoever thought up the Caprese Farro can take the crown. This place is beautiful, well curated, and has such a chill vibe. The new owners have created a staple for Main St!

You must visit 828 market if you’re driving through. They’ve crafted such a cool vibe and atmosphere, with beer on tap, coffee, food and a variety of local items.

This place is wonderful! Hot dogs and pasta salad and chocolate chip cookie were perfect. Excellent assortment of beer and drinks. Beautiful space with the most beautiful display of very happy plants. So cozy and warm with cool music playing. A must try when in Waynesville.

What a great place with local coffee and house made sweets. The London Fog scones were delish as were the chocolate cookies. Charming atmosphere and fun gifts like sachets for your bath, specialty nuts and chocolates.

Got to check out the new & improved 828 Market this evening and it is awesome. I ordered the Jambon Brie sandwich to go. OMG…it was incredibly delicious. I picked up a huge homemade chocolate chip cookie for my husband (forgot to take a picture of it before he inhaled it), and a homemade oatmeal cream pie (real buttercream filling) for me (also inhaled). Next time I will try the homemade nutter butter cookie, without a doubt delicious as they were sold out of them this evening. While I waited for my sandwich, I checked out the wide variety of items available for sale. There was gourmet foods, sauces, jams, cheese, sausage, all sorts of beverages (including a nice selection of wines), pasta, and much more. Speaking of pasta, I am so excited to try the pimento cheese ravioli I bought. About three years ago I read about Melina’s pasta in a best of NC magazine article, but I would have had to drive to Raleigh to buy it at the farmer’s market. Thanks 828 Market for bringing it to me! There’s also a great selection of gift items (handmade soaps, candles, linens, puzzles, creams, etc) for you or a friend. I know where to go for the perfect host/hostess gift. The owners and their team have done a great job hand selecting their inventory and they believe in sourcing locally. I’ll be back and next time I’m bringing my husband for one of their “market dogs”. This wonderful establishment is not to be missed!
