All set for take-out orders! So good! Try this place if you are looking for something to make you happy.

When we 1st went in we were greeted by a friendly guy. He went over the specials and gave recommendations. My friend had an authentic Cuban sandwich and I had the palomilla steak, black beans and rice, and plantains, which both were amazing. The owner was friendly and engaging. He plans to expand. We wish him the best of luck. We will be back the next time we visit Waynesville. Head on over there for a delicious meal.

The REAL DEAL! The Cuban Sandwich was big and packed full of deliciousness. The Jamon Croquette's were perfect! We can't wait to go back. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size. Be prepared to stand in line, but don't worry it is well worth the short wait.

Unbelievably fantastic Cuban food! I had the Cuban sandwich and I was transported back to Tampa FL. Tampa was were I experienced authentic Cuban food for the first time and I still can't believe we have such a little gem here in Waynesville. The family moved up from Miami and brought their food and culture with them to share with us. Looking forward to returning to The Cuban Guy as soon as I can. Btw, the plantains are to die for. :)

I ate at the Cuban Guy for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! I’m a big fan of good Cuban food and culture. I have traveled to Miami several times and returned home missing the taste of a good Cuban sandwich. If you want to feel like you’re right in the heart of little Havana then this restaurant is the place to be. Best Cuban food you can get aside from driving 600+ miles to experience the authentic taste that Miami has to offer.
