Sweet Onion

I had the crab cakes which were all lump crab, no filler, fresh and nice size portion. Try the Mac and cheese side, homemade and bubbling hot. Great service and great prices!

This place is absolutely fantastic. The decor is cozy yet elegant and the food...well... amazing is putting it lightly. Everything was delectable, including the creme brulee for dessert. The staff was kind and courteous and the prices were more than reasonable. My girlfriend and I got an appetizer, two entrees, I got a highland Porter and we split a dessert for under $40.

We had a great meal. Stellar service. The manager was nice and very patient with our seating requirements.

We each had the pecan chicken salad melt, which was very delicious. I had their special side of the day, coconut collard greens, which intrigued me enough to try them. I was glad that I did. My wife had sweet potato fries, which were also quite tasty. Our server, Erika, was attentive and helpful with her suggestions. We both only ate half of our sandwiches, and took the other half for later. Highly recommend that you check out the Sweet Onion!

Small place with big flavors. Stopped for lunch while on our first visit to Slyva. Ordered the chicken salad and was not disappointed. Organic and locally sourced food. Friendly staff. A revisit is in order.
