Sorrento Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

First time visit this evening and we were very pleased! The lasagna bolognese special was amazing according to my wife. I had the chicken parm and it too was delicious. The portions were hardy. The wait staff couldn't have been friendlier or more prompt. The only dislike I had was that the flatware felt cheap and flimsy. I like to have a solid fork and knife when I eat. I won't take any stars for that, but I wish they'd use better utensils please. We'll be back for sure!

First time at Sorrento tonight. Amazing food and the service was impeccable. But the guy by the pizza oven in charge of the pies is from another world . That dude rocks.

Sorrento’s is my favorite Italian restaurant. I am in Statesville frequently and I always love coming here to have some tasty Italian. So much better than Olive Garden. Service is always quick and nice too! Highly recommend. I’ve tried a lot of different things and they are all so good!

Friendly and helpful servers. One went the extra mile to make sure we had lemon on our calamari appetizer. She was right, with the lemon it is even better. Loved the calamari! Best Ive has
! It was soft and tender. They had no problem with my special order asking for a few scallops on the side of my mushrooms. They were generous with portions and everything was delicious! Even the bathrooms had a a great smell, very clean and enjoyable signage. When I ordered the taramisu for dessert the waitress noticed I was wanting my boys to try it and brought a really nice portion with four spoons. I took note of the extra attention to customer service. Highly recommend this place. A wall full of awards. I can see why.

Easily one of the best dining spots in the area. My family and I have eaten and ordered take-out regularly from here for years, and we are never disappointed. The pizza is our favorite—always hits the spot! ????????
