Great chef and staff. Dishes are well with the price.

Great food, Great staff, Great place to meet and hang out with the locals of Smithfield.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly, and they are very accommodating. The food is always excellent. If you want to experience the real Smithfield, this is the place to go.

A find based on "restaurants" search when we didn't want to eat Mexican twice in one day and weren't thrilled about any of the big-box chain food purveyors we could find at the highway intersection. Great little restaurant. A touch to the "better" end of dining but we weren't out of place in our Craig's Listing outfits.
I had shrimp; John had the scallops; we both liked the sides and we loved the fried pickles (an acquired taste, I admit). TV in the bar is NOT visible or audible from most of the tables in the restaurant.
If you're driving through Smithfield and you can't face one more identical prepackaged dinner presented as "original," figure out how to get yourself to the Bistro on Third. Now that the bridge is open again, it's not that hard to find.
