Poppy’s Bagels & More

Staff is friendly. Food is delicious. Place is clean and orderly. I love the chicken salad. They have wide selection of salads, bagels, and just about anything on the grill. Check them out....you'll be impressed.

Poppy's has the best bagels in Charlotte. We've been a weekly customers at their Cotswold location for years, but being able to stop by their South End location is much more convenient. The only small drawback is the music is perhaps too loud in their South End location, particularly earlier in the morning.

We visited poppy’s bagels on a Saturday morning and ordered two egg sandwiches and a bagel with cream cheese. We waited over 30 minutes to receive our food which seemed like a really long wait for some bagels. One of the bagels was actually burned but the other two were great. It is a new location so we are hoping they are still working out their logistics. We did notice that you can text in a call ahead order so we will give that a shot next time.

Pretty good place. Went on a Sunday morning and it was slammed with customers. Food was pretty good but nothing to write home about.

One of our bagels was pretty severely burnt (see picture). I prefer the nearby and similar Owen’s bagels.

Our neighborhood needed a good bagel shop. So glad this is here. Try their southern sandwich - bagel, egg, cheese, gravy and a hearty breaded chicken parm breast. They have other offerings too - donuts, muffins, bars and NY Deli type stuff. (Pasta salads, cheese blintzes, breaded meats, etc)
