Blackfinn Ameripub - Uptown

I experienced Blackfinn for the first time Tuesday night, while working at my part-time. I ordered the Outer Banks Shrimp and Crab Dip which was not hot at all. However, I dropped in on last night just to lounge with a friend and actually meet the Manager. While speaking with him, I provided him feedback of my experience the night before and he became annoyed and rude by calling me unprofessional and Ghetto because I shared my thoughts of my first time experience. While walking away his statement was " Well God do you not have anything nice to about my restaurant" Dude it was feedback! I was far from rude or disrespectful. It's called constructive criticism & he couldn't handle that. Therefore, the three stars are for the wait staff because they were so nice and friendly! Being a manager while working with customer's, one has to be optimistic to constructive feedback to better their establishment! I will never step foot, eat or suggest this restaurant to anyone after that experience. The only thing I can say nice about the manager on duty on 10.16.19 is the Fedora he wore, was really cute!

Very low key and laid back atmosphere. Mattey waited on me in the pub section and she was just absolutely phenomenal. Just catching up on some of the NFL games this afternoon. I had the Shrimp and crab dip and it was enjoyable with plenty of warm tortilla chips. Just a really pleasant late afternoon. Fantastic server, outgoing and very hospitable. I just had the best meal of the trip. Bacon wrapped meatloaf, sweet potato casserole, and brussel sprouts. All of that sounded strange when the waiter suggested them to me. So glad I listened to him. Great meal!

Nice Place- came with a large group and our Waiter Keith was excellent in handling the tempo. Ordered the Shrimp and Garlic Linguine was good. Tastes the Fried devil eggs and Mac and Cheese with Pulled pork also both very good. Drinks were ok could have been better were a little weak and tasteless. Other than that great place in the heart of epicenter.
