Great food, great service
One of my favorite places to sit down to eat in uptown Charlotte. This location is on the 2nd floor of the Epicentre (adjacent to the Blue Line Lynx Light Rail at the Charlotte Transportation Center aka The Transit as locals call it). Great views of the South College Street below. Barely anyone dining when they open at 10:00 am, so you are sure to get personal attention from wait staff. The salad bar is always fresh and delicious and goes great with their signature soups year round. Remember, when you dine in, you get as much self serve/soft serve icecream as you want located by the drinks dispenser! All day only when you dine in. Sandwiches are awesome too. Always leaving full and energized. Plenty of space and tables, as well as flat screen TVs that usually play ESPN all day (great for sports fanatics).
My favorite lunch stop. Nice selection at the salad bar. Tasty ginger muffins. Free soft serve. Enjoy!
Best salad bar in Uptown. Good sandwiches. Catering is sometimes hit or miss, sandwiches are not as fresh as dining in and are sometimes light on the meat. Dine-in for complementary mini ice-cream cone. Big clean, dining room with plenty of seating.
The food is so yummy and they have lots of options for all kinds of diets or picky eaters. You also get free ice cream! Yum.
Only rated it 4 stars because they changed the way you get your food now. In the past you got a number to take to your table and when your food was ready someone would bring it to you. Now they give you a buzzer and when it vibrates you're supposed to go grab your food. The tables are squeezed so tightly together that it is hard to maneuver around to get to the front, coming back with a tray of food in your hands is a receipe for disaster. Also, a lot of people go there alone, you can't leave your stuff unattended to go grab your food.
