Sunset Soul Food

I did not realize such a awesome space with great authentic food was right around the corner from where I normally stay in Charlotte! They were out of a couple things when I went in but went above and beyond and gave me a little bit extra to make up for the disappointment of not getting what I wanted by making sure that I was happy when I left. I will say this they take care and pride in creating great food that is quality and authentic. Well it is in a very interesting spot don’t be afraid of that these people are friendly helpful and have absolutely delicious food!

So, the food is great and the staff is friendly however, there was absolutely not enough parking nor a place to really sit down and enjoy my food. One thing that I did not like was the fact you had to go through a bunch of pop up salesman before you get to the door to order your food. There is a substantial wait to receive your order but once it is received, it is enjoyable even though the surrounding atmosphere was not!
