“We waited to see how the reviews shaped up before trying this place out. After we saw all of the heavy splits between high and low scores and all of the confused New Yorkers upset that it wasn't floppy thin soggy greasy pizza we knew we had to try it. There's not many mid western or tavern cut style pizza joints down here, and this one was OK, not the best we've had, but we enjoyed it. We tried the "all the way" pizza, which is their version of a supreme with banana peppers. The crust is dense, with a slight sweetness in the sauce was good but not super flavorful. I wish they would've used more cheese and mixed or layered it with the meat and veggies, which were middle of the road quality but tasted good. We had the antipasto salad which was pretty basic salad dressed up with deli cuts and veggies and it was good. Ordered over the phone for delivery and it showed up in about 20 minutes hot. The price was fair and was a cash deal at the front door. We'll try it again for sure just to break up the monotony and get a taste of something different.”

“Food is really good, beer selection is fantastic and affordable. Service can be hit or miss when real busy but overall it's still easily better than most places around here and they will try to make it up to you if you have any issues. One of the managers Amy is wonderful and will set you right. Otherwise this is a fantastic place to check out and you will not be disappointed with the food or drinks. Their own beer is good and also on special, they also do specials beers from other breweries each month.”

“They had to rework part of my order, as they had put a condiment on that required new bread. (No issue, human's make mistakes.). This was only communicated AFTER the bread swap was completed, and the young lady had to toast the bread 2x, as the second bread didn't survive the toasting intact. The biggest issue is, I ordered a bacon 3 cheese, and the bacon also apparently didn't survive the bread swap. And being that they just transplanted the "filling" (meat and cheese, not a big fan of veggies.) The sandwich started to get cold long before it should have.”

“We've been going to this joint since we moved here back in 2006. Back then, it was usually at least twice a month. We have moved across town, but continue to come back, albeit less often. The food has pretty much stayed the same, and although the service has kinda been spotty at times, this remains a great place to eat wings, ribs, BBQ, etc. I recommend coming at "off" times. The staff seems less stressed during those periods.”

She was in a rush to get back to mopping the floor I guess so she could get off. I told her I had a rewards card she ignored me. Her coworker at least acknowledged me and let me swipe my card. “I did a mobile order with my app. If u put in Free2L1 you get a free drink. Well I did it several times and it didn't work. So when my daughter goes in to get the pizza, she tells him about it (some teen working there said what you want me to do about it). I was mad that he did that but they were both teens so maybe he was playing with her. I'm posting this to help young ppl with their customer service skills. Even tho he couldn't do anything about it, he didn't ask the mgr. Maybe there was a glitch in the system, who knows we could've still gotten the soda free, which was not the point by the way. However, in saying all of that, the pizza was good and fresh but is was not extra most bestest! There was one 5 pepperoni on one slice! This location needs to do better. I live across state line and I probably won't be back.”

“I did not realize such a awesome space with great authentic food was right around the corner from where I normally stay in Charlotte! They were out of a couple things when I went in but went above and beyond and gave me a little bit extra to make up for the disappointment of not getting what I wanted by making sure that I was happy when I left. I will say this they take care and pride in creating great food that is quality and authentic. Well it is in a very interesting spot don’t be afraid of that these people are friendly helpful and have absolutely delicious food!”
