Limani

An amazing restaurant that the Greek community was waiting for a long time. We were a big group of 9 people that visited the restaurant soon after it opened (23rd December) and it was a great experience. Grilled fish was amazing, so were the lamb chops and there are no words to describe the octopus. Salads, wine list and the fried zucchini stack were awesome! Definitely will be back. As for all my friends that ask me where I can find a real Greek restaurant in Charlotte, well now you got your answer: Limani! For those that have visited their locations in NY and Long Island, the restaurant continues to deliver what it suppose to. Christos the GM is an awesome guy and so is the wait staff. I read some reviews that are harsh on the restaurant, but everybody has to understand that there is luck of kitchen staff out there that knows about the Greek cuisine and we have to be a little bit patient when reviewing a new restaurant. I understand that when you pay $100 plus per person you have expectations but we should also remember that we need to help restaurants like that to succeed in order to improve Charlotte’s food scene. What more can I say except Limani was a hit with no misses! They really did over exceed my expectations . Limani is more than an aesthetic restaurant for sure ! Service here was remarkable , so many staff members attended to us and our needs we were beyond satisfied on the customer service spectrum alone to begin.

Walking in the first thing that catches your eye is the bar area not only because it’s the first thing you see when you come but it’s pleasing to the eye from the modern style chairs , to the colorful blue led lights and the oversized tree that sits in the middle making the bar a topic of discussion at first sight.

If I could give this restaurant an a plus plus I promise you I would ! Our food & drinks were incredible , it’s a must to order the Limani chips when you go which is zucchini & eggplant fried chip mix . The cheese that you spread on made this dish that more amazing . The branzino was super fresh and left my taste buds jumping for joy , the octopus will shock you with its unique flavor . Limani nailed the charred octopus to a science . Their blood orange margarita is probably the best one I have had in a long time. It’s pretty safe to say there were no crumbs left behind . Ten out of ten recommend . Side note : Also came back for New Year’s Eve I loved it so much I’m a regular in this spot now .

Excited to have a quality Mediterranean restaurant near by. The atmosphere makes you feel light and refreshed, almost as if you where by the sea. Michael was out captain server for lunch and he was attentive, as well as knowledgeable providing an excellent experience. This place may just be my new favorite restaurant in town. The food was phenomenal, prepared perfectly compliments to the Chef. There is an excellent selection of fresh fish, and light shares. I look forward to coming back and recommending Limani to my guest. Cheers.

This place is beautiful. Walking in and see a stunning bar with high lofted ceilings. Seating all the way around the bar, table section, patio, and a private room in the back.
The food was delicious. I was not expecting the octopus to come in such huge chunks. The salmon was made perfectly and melted in my mouth with every bite. The karidopita came with a scoop of ice cream and was delicious to top it off.
Service was great. Staff is amazing. Highly recommend this place!
