Two of my friends and I were in town visiting and Sports One was recommended for their delicious brunch. The hostess was extremely short, to the point of rudeness and very dismissive. We initially got there and she told us it would be a 30 minute wait after waiting around for about 10 to 15 minutes she told us it would be an hour. Once we were seated we were feeling in a better place because her attitude had turned us off initially. The music was amazing the vibe was really cool, my table even found ourselves grooving and hyping a couple of other tables up and dancing, everyone in the establishment seemed to be very cool with the exception of the staff…but specifically the hostess. we were told there was a two hour maximum. We viewed the menu and grooved to the music and after about 30 minutes noticed that we had not been served… no one had asked us our drink order, no water or anything. I went back to the hostess to let her know no one had come to take our drink orders. She was apologetic and went to find someone to help us. The waitress, when she came, made a point to explain that someone had dropped the ball. I had to ask three times for my drink, and both of my friends had food items that were brought well after the rest of their food. They did not end up eating their bacon or eggs because the rest of their food was cold and they couldn’t enjoy it. I will say that my food was a little salty but all in all the food we DID eat was really good. My friend had the red velvet waffles, chicken wings and scrambled eggs, the other order was an omelet with bacon (she asked for regular bacon but was served Turkey bacon). I had the smothered chicken and biscuits and breakfast potatoes (the potatoes I did not eat because they were oil logged). I did not like that the drinks were served in plastic cups and the condiments were served in plastic to go containers, granted it’s a “sports bar” but it just brought the refinement level down. Sadly, the amazing DJ and the decent food was not enough to make me want to return.

Needed to kill some time before my flight and stumbled upon this GEM! What a lovely place. Atmosphere was vibrant and fun. Customer service was exceptional but what made my experience was the Bartender. Allie was so full of energy and life. She kept my boyfriend and I giggling! Perfect personality for greeting customers. Drinks were really good. Can't wait to visit again.

In Charlotte for my bday and figured this would be a cool place to check out. Drinks were good, however the food was mediocre at best. The calamari was edible it cold. The truffle fries are nothing more than regular grocery store fries and the steak my cousin ordered was over cooked and something she could have done at home. I’m giving it three out of five because the service was good and so was the atmosphere. If you haven’t been than try it maybe they were having an off night with the food but I probably won’t come back the next time I’m in town.
