Trying the Dan Dan Noodles and the Chengdu Dumplings, the food had a great flavor and a nice heat without being miserably spicy. The service was good, the employee was very sweet to us, and the food came out quickly. The price was a little high (the only reason this isn't a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review), but considering it's in Optimist Hall and the space isn't cheap, it's an understandable price point. The dining area was nice, even in the social distancing Covid world we live in today, and I'll definitely be returning.
If times are tough, take care of yourself. But if you can afford a $20 meal, it's fantastic. Can't wait to go back!
It can be pretty hard to find a great vegan dumpling, but holy hell. They have a great vegan dumpling, utterly mouthwatering. I wish I could order them by the pound to keep at home!
Highly recommend the dumpling lady in optimist hall!! I tried their shrimp & chicken dumplings and pickled cucumbers and both were super authentic-tasting and flavorful. Prices not bad either !
Amazing visit today. Incredible dumplings and noodles. Our new favorite spot for dumplings. Had 2 different kinds and wanted to try many more. We will definitely be back. The scallion pancakes were amazing also!
Pretty good food. Not the best dim sum/dumplings I've ever had, but definitely the best I've had in Charlotte. I like to eat spicy food and their hot chili oil definitely has a kick to it so be cautious when ordering if you're not a big spicy food lover!! Also, the soup dumplings come out very large and 2 of the 3 people at my table managed to spill soup on their attire
