The Olde Mecklenburg Restaurant & Biergarten at Ballantyne

Friday afternoon decided to explore a bit farther away for a nice cold beer. OMB offered a relaxing ambiance, good beer selection, and fair confort food. Great please to hang out with friends and family and people watching. A bit loud inside, therefore preferred either the front or back patio. Service a bit slow, but nothing major if enjoying the company and a goos beer.

No bad reviews here! Saturday night and we walked in, sat right down outside and ordered our food and drinks and they came to table super fast! The restaurant staff and our server, Isabella was awesome! Recommend the Smash burger & Chicken bacon avacado sandwich Atmosphere with live music outside is great, inside seems too loud. Will be back!!

Didn't rate the food, because they still need to figure out those logistics. But I gave a 5 for atmosphere and service. Everyone was friendly and the biergarten was authentic. They did a nice job recreating the LoSo vibe in the Bowl.

The place is completely packed and extremely loud inside. It was still very nice (outside) we sat on the benches. The band playing was phenomenal and it was great. The beer was delicious and they had decent variety. Unfortunately i can’t really say the same for the food. The food takes absolutely forever to get to you, you will wait for a long time. There’s just no way the staff can cover that many people. I ordered the flatbread and they burned it 😂. The fries were okay. Overall it was okay but just for drinking maybe not eating. I probably won’t come back. I was looking for a more relaxed and chill vibe.

I went to the new OMB in Ballantyne for the grand opening on June 1st. It was a beautiful day, and the place was packed. It took a long time to get food, but I understand as all of the cool people in Charlotte were there for the opening. This brewery is a great addition to Ballantyne. OMB makes two of my favorite beers, Captain Jack and Copper. I live close by, and I will be a regular customer at OMB's Ballantyne brewery.
