“I work at CMC Main and having a food option open late is wonderful. I have had some really good experiences here coupled with a few poorer ones, namely undercooked chicken on a salad once and another time with very poor customer service upon stepping up to order. All other times have been very satisfactory, and a prime example was when I ordered a caffe mocha and forgot to mention I needed almond milk. After the drink had been made I realized my mistake and asked if I could get one with almond milk, staring that it was completely my mistake and nothing they did wrong, and apologized for it. They graciously made me another one, didn't charge me for it, and wished me a good night. As far as the store itself, it has a very good layout with plenty of seating and is kept clean. It is found on the ground floor near the front entrance to the hospital.”

“I am of Asian origin, so my idea of spice is somewhat different from the general populace. These guys are superb. Amazing quality and taste at an extremely reasonable price, not to mention the super friendly hosts. They have a spice scale of 1-5 stars (5 being the spiciest) but were most amenable to my request for a 6 star spice level. Could not be more pleased. Bless You. “I loved smoothie king, but now I love them more. My Daddy is in the hospital and he loves smoothies. I’ve been getting him a smoothie everyday to help him feel better. Well, this morning I couldn’t make it up in time and so my daddy called this store. And the lovely associate made my dad a smoothie and went out of her way to deliver it him. Allison and Jada are amazing. You should be happy to have them on the team. Kind, passionate, caring and all around amazing young women. “I got the bulgogi and schnitzel buns, and the house rice cakes with pork belly kimchi. It was opening day so the line was long and service wasn’t the fastest. So that’s ok, I’ll survive. They were also running out of menu items as my time in line progressed. The buns were DELICIOUS. Very very tasty and unique. The schnitzel bun was a huge surprise in uniqueness and flavor. Bulgogi bun was good but without as many complex flavors. Both buns were cold, which was a disappointment. But again, it was opening day and the place was a mad house. The house rice cakes with pork belly kimchi was by far the best Kimchi entree I have ever had. Flavors and textures were literally perfect. I could not have been more pleased with that. All in all, looking forward to visiting again when the newness dies down some to try the pork belly buns and ramen. Give this a go if you’re in Optimist Hall ??”

“Not only is the location great but the atmosphere is great and so is the staff. The food is always very consistent and I typically order the pork or brisket with collard greens and coleslaw. The hush puppies are always a great touch. I also recommend trying the sweet potato fries. if you're looking to have a drink the bar is very well stocked with some decent bourbons and scotch whiskeys. due to social distancing there may be a wait to get a table but the staff does the best they can to get you in as fast as possible. They do clean quite often and don't be surprised if they clean while you're sitting at your table.”

“We were just driving by and noticed the Strudel Shop and decided to check it out. They have a walk up window so it was easy and safe. We tried the egg and cheese breakfast strudel. It was amazing! “I love Jets! The pizza is deep dish with flavored crusts loaded with mozzarella cheese generously spread throughout the pizza. I would have scored higher, but my pizza slices???????? were not fresh. Both were reheated. When their pizza comes right out the oven and it's topped with fresh cheese and fresh ingredients, it is delicious! When it's not, I can tell. “Wild wings just opened so they are brand new in this location. In contrast to other locations, this one is very modern with exposed brick and concrete and lots of sport’s memorabilia and of course tons of TVs. They have a great outdoor space with doors they can open in warm weather and nice seating areas. They have a redesigned menu with lots of choices. Their wings are significantly upgraded. We are excited to have a new location near us.”

“Ordered online for pickup, was ready on time - the food was really good; hot sandwiches still hot at pickup and when it came time to eat. Service very friendly and welcoming. Downside: sandwiches were ordered with names to identify each, as there were a few variations - however the sandwiches not only were not labeled by name, but only one was labelled by number. What this meant was that, in this time of Covid-19, someone had to hand-open every sandwich to figure out whose is whose. Not very sanitary all things considered. he chips and drinks were not put out on the table, forcing me to get into the drinks fridge directly, which again given the concerns of virus transmission, is not very sanitary. The staff was friendly and apologetic about the error. I wish I had checked the sandwiches before leaving, as the above name/identifier issue would have been caught before leaving. I'm not sure that I should have to double-check orders, the onus for this is on the staff, IMO. Great food, mediocre attention to detail.”
