Hef's Restaurant

Food was great. Had to wait awhile for the food but worth the wait.

Ok, it feels more like a bar with a restaurant, as opposed to a restaurant with a bar. This was our first impression, which almost made us not go in. However, don't let that discourage you. We visited Hef's last weekend, at the recommendation of a complete stranger we met at the "Fire on the Mountain" a Blacksmiths event downtown Spruce Pine. While the restaurant feels more like a bar, the food is actually very good. They don't serve typical bar food that is below average. But instead, we found the food to be very good and fairly priced. The servers are also very attentative. We really enjoyed their pizza, boneless chicken wings and calamari, and oh, also sweet potato fries. Everything was great. On Wednesdays, you can enjoy a large 3-topping pizza with 6 wings for $12. What a value! Stop in to enjoy some great casual food, in a casual environment at Hef's Restayrant. I really believe you will enjoy it. Make sure you tip your server well. They work very hard at earning your business, with a smile. You might even run into Hef, he's the owner.

We went here on a Christmas adventure to find a tree. Kind of a sports bar vibe, good food and service. All the kids and grandkids went. Good time.

The wings & pizza are Spectacular! I've not tried other menu items, but everything looks great! Friendly atmosphere & Excellent service everytime I go. Fabulous place to go in this small town!

Great little place in Spruce Pine where you can get a good deal on a pizza and wings on Wednesday. They also have gluten-free pizza crust and you can choose what kind of wings you want boneless or bone-in. The waitress here is amazing! I can't believe she is waiting on all these people all by herself and doing a great job! Note : this is not the same chain restaurant you find in Charlotte. This is a family-owned restaurant. They have really good prices on beers and wine too!
