I appreciate that they will gladly let you have a taster of wine before you order. I love their salad and the fact that you can get seconds of soup or salad if you want. “El Tapatio is an exceptional Mexican restaurant. My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way home from visiting our son in Florida. We are from New Jersey and only wish we could visit this restaurant every week! Rave reviews on all counts! The copious amount of scrumptuous food is unmatched! It is the BEST Mexican restaurant we have ever had the pleasure of dining in! Clemente was our server and he was gracious and personable. Experienced cook's because all food is good and portions sufficient: chopped barbecue (a bit spicy), fried/baked chicken, pork chops, greens and cakes. Mom likes the chittlings & hushpuppies. I got the Salmon and colossal shrimp and will definitely be ordering this again and my husband got the tilapia with shrimp and rice and he totally enjoyed it. The portions were a nice size. We got the crab dip for an appetizer and it was great.By the time we shared the dip ,ate our salad and some cheese biscuits we were about full when the entree came so we had food we took home that we enjoyed later. It was just as good later as in the beginning. Try either entree I mentioned or both,you won't be disappointed.”
