Granny's Country Kitchen (Carolina Beach)

Such a cute little beach diner. Lots of choices that are not "run of the mill". Food was good and service was great. Small inside but plenty of room once you are seated.

There was a long wait due to limited seating, but the staff was very friendly and there was a very inviting atmosphere. To top it off the food was fantastic! Definitely worth the wait, and I think it's a place everyone needs to try when they're down at the beach!

My family and I went to Granny's for breakfast. While the building, itself, is small it is clean and homey. We arrived fairly early and were seated inside immediately, there is an additional dinning area outside. Granny's does get busy and at times there may be a brief wait for seating but I attribute this to it's popularity due to the great food they serve and their awesome staff.

I would highly recommend Granny's. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I have to say, I was extremely impressed. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the food was absolutely to die for! My coworker and I both got the bacon chili cheeseburger, and I must say it tasted like Pure Freedom! My soul felt like an eagle soaring through the air majestically after one bite. The next bike was just as good as the next! The fries oh, let's just say them are some good taters! The food literally was so good I started to tear up. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face with a freedom Burger. Slight disclaimer it's not called a freedom Burger, they call it the Carolina Burger. Breakfast is served all day and if I lived in Wilmington I would be going there every day for lunch! Stop in and sit a spell you will not regret it
