Riverview Restaurant

Great Dining experience!
My wife and I have twice visited this restaurant for the flounder basket with two sides. Both times the food was very fresh and delicious. The flounder tasted really good and there was plenty of it. The fries were perfect. We sat out on the screened in back porch which is a very comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend this restaurant but be sure to call to make sure they are open because right now they have some unusual hours.

Had a lovely dinner here last night. Several seating options: outside on the deck, inside a screened porch area, or inside in the air conditioning, so really something for everyone. No matter which you pick there are amazing views of the river and sunset!! All the staff were super friendly.

Menu is simple with a focus on fresh seafood. I enjoyed the flounder basket which was super crispy and very flavorful. Husband enjoyed the grilled shrimp salad—was glad to try to comeback sauce as his salad dressing. Nice to walk around on the lawn and dock after eating. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful place and great tasting food, not much more to say. Everyone that worked there was very friendly, we ended up talking to one of the owners Steve who was very nice, I hope they end up successful.

The place is very casual, you order at a counter and food runners bring you your food. They have wine, domestic cans, and draft beer as well if you just want to come drink and watch the sunset. Perfect for families with small children since they can pretty much roam free in the yard. I feel like we could have gotten some more shrimp for the price but it was such good quality I can't dock them for that. The fried flounder was the best I have ever had. In summary, we will be returning.

We had an excellent lunch here today. We had the shrimp basket with fries and coleslaw and the Mahi tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious! The place is very clean and there is a lot of seating inside, on the screened porch and the outside deck. Beautiful view of the river too. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Looking for a new experience, you now have an option. Riverview restaurant in Kure Beach, At Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation area. On the Cape Fear river. Undoubtedly the most beautiful sunset in New County fresh seafood, beer and wine. Something this area and island has needed for a long time. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
