“We ordered the fried pimento cheese appetizer, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and short rib macaroni and cheese. It was all delicious! It took me about 15 minutes to choose what to order because it all sounded so good. Our waitress was Rachael J., and she is the best waitress I have ever encountered. She was super friendly and prompt, and engaged in conversation with us. We will definitely be back!”

“Went here yesterday for Father’s Day with the family and first the food was amazing, we always love the cheese sticks and the curly fries and a girl name Payton was extremely nice and she interacted with my baby. “I was in Wilmington with a colleague for business. Looking at Trip Advisor for good restaurants near where we were working, we discovered the Cape Fear Seafood Company. Not particularly fancy, but we wanted a dinner with fresh seafood, well prepared, in a place where we could linger at the table to work a bit--all at a reasonable price. We got it all here! Of special note is the fact that I asked our excellent server, Katie, if the chef could prepare my fish in a particular way, She spoke with her/him and the fish arrived just the way I wanted it. I will definitely go back here!”

“Delicious. I had the truffle gyro with chicken and it was excellent. The fries, lamb, and hummus are also really good. The staff is also really great, I enjoyed the customer service. The business, however, either doesn't put or doesn't have the ability to put any money towards maintenance. There was little to no A/C so we were sweating during our meal. The tables are leveled out with napkins underneath the legs. The light in the bathroom doesn't work so they've plugged in an outlet light. Look up at the vents and there's some kind of mold all around them. Don't eat there, get the food to go. It's worth it.”

“Food is always good, but lately the service, meaning the guy behind the counter running the place, ( thru a few owners in the 10 years I have been going there) was pretty rude and blew off my concerns of part of my order sitting around for 25 minutes, blamed it on "they are slammed tonight ", I think that's the wrong answer and the wrong attitude. He was always fine over the years. The servers are always great. Needless to say, I live a couple of miles from there and used to go at least once a week and since that time I've only been a few times in the past 8 months as that's no way to treat a customer.”

“Great food and service and comfy atmosphere. Shrimp and grits and crab cakes were the choices for our first visit and they were both very very good, though the sauce for the shrimp was sorta bland. Even so, I would order it again. We also had the coconut cake (beyond belief good and huge) and the key lime pie, which was the best ever..clearly home made with a crust to die for. Ashley, our server, was a delight. Highly recommend. We will be back.”
