Marina Grill

Our server Shawnee was wonderful! The food was great - portions were perfect. Salads, Davie County burger, and steak frites were all very good. Very attentive staff. Twelve layer chocolate cake and the Coconut Cake were both excellent.

Good: the food! Ordered the scallop entree, and everything was cooked perfectly! Shout out to the kitchen, very well done, and worthy of the price.

Bad: Service. I will not mention our server's name because I do not think it was the server's fault. The fault is with a lack of training. I will spare everyone the long boring story, but let me say this, when the server looks to be about 17 years old, and then the manager comes out and looks to be about 24 years old, this tells me they cannot keep their staff. High turnover equals low knowledge.

Bottom line....too many great restaurants in the area that provide BOTH great food AND great service.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Their food was amazing. This is a great place to go whether an outing with friends and family, or a date night with the one you love!

Excellent location, great food and awesome drink specials throughout the week. Ample portions at a reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and eat on the patio overlooking the marina and Cape Fear river.

New to Wilmington, moved from NY. Have a passion for shrimp n grits!! All my expectations were met at the Marina Grill.
Staff was welcoming and helpful. We sat on the deck and the view of the marina was beautiful. Great menu. The shrimp n grits were amazing!! Truly amazing!!!
My server was Amanda and she made the experience so much better, helpful, polite and pleasant. She truly served with well. Will be returning real soon. This is my go to for shrimp n grits!!!!
