Ummm how did I not try this place out sooner!? The BEST Mexican food in Wilmington. I had the chicken enchilada swivas and the chicken wasn’t dry like most places and the flavor was incredible. Lupe was our server and she was excellent. Also look at this octopus appetizer!! We are thrilled Wilmington has this new restaurant

We had a great time and savanna helped us 😀 she was amazing and always checked on us to make sure we were having a fantastic time . A modern take of Mexican food which also includes beautiful views and enormous seat arrangements. Just a great environment and experience in general.

Fantastic mexican restaurant on the river in Wilmington. Frozen strawberry mezcal margaritas we fresh and smoky.
Mole chicken had a deep, rich mole sauce with a hint of cocoa and plenty of spice. The quesadilla birria was tender and delicious sauce for dunking. The mexican slaw was more like chopped lettuce with pickled onions. Great atmosphere and good service.

Awesome location.....can't argue with that. Parking was challenging...Friday evening (thank goodness no concerts). Service was on point, margaritas were middle of the road, food the same. Love Los Portales and they mentioned this would be more authentic like that given their affiliation. California Mexican is hard to beat ....unless you're from Mexico. Again, beautiful location. Perhaps they are working out the kinks.

Incredible service by Andrea! Good was so delicious and the portion sizes were generous! The empanadas were so good! Ceviche was so flavorful. Y’all- this is a great addition to downtown Wilmington!
