    Dog friendly, as is much of downton Wilmington. The George is spacious, sits on river walk. Those with pups are seated closest to the river with the best views. There were awnings to help with the sun. My pup sat on my lap for most of the meal, just as we do at home. Delicious blackened grouper Reuben with side of fruit.

    This place is phenomenal. The food is delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Let me not forget about the cocktails. I love my drinks sweet with a strong punch at the end and that's exactly what I got. I will definitely be returning very soon.

    Beautiful surroundings right on the Cape Fear River. Excellent food and staff. I highly recommend the fish tacos, but ALL menu items are fantastic. Can hardly wait to go back.

    This is the best Shrimp & Grits I have ever had! It was so delicious. It was super flavorful and the cheesy grits made it really special. Everyone at the table ended up sharing it because they couldn't help themselves. ;) The burger was wonderful too!

    The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful river view. The staff was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable.

    If you are anywhere nearby, I would recommend a visit to this gem.
