The Getaway Cafe and Provisions

Beautiful place! I wanted to try something different for breakfast and I found this place through google map. I ordered Avocado toast and it was phenomenal (maybe this is the biggest avocado toast have ever seen). Very well seasoned and the crunch, just made the experience worth it. I got also a latte which was okay. The service was good (especially the cashier, she was very very nice and she recommended the avocado).
I will be back again for sure.

Super nice staff, the gluten free option contained egg whites, which I can’t eat either, so I brought my own bread and they just gave me the avocado toast without the toast and it was DELICIOUS!!! So so good! Their frozen mimosas (Fro-Mo) are a really good too!

Was worried about 10 am crowd. Not one. Mocha latte excellent! Yogurt granola parfait large and tasty. Banana nut muffin homemade and gooey - eat with a fork. Lots of gluten free options. Really cozy cafe.

This is a nice place for a quick bite. The sweet potato hummus was out of this world delicious and comes with pickles and thick grilled bread pieces for dipping. And the harvest hash bowl was heavenly made with fresh ingredients. They sell some baked desserts as well as beer,wine, coffee and tea. Try a fro-mosa. This is the sister restaurant to Southerly Biscuit. Which is another place I highly recommend for breakfast or brunch. Nice calm interior decor with indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is fantastic! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options. The fare is elevated cafe food, both hot and cold options. Hash is my fav, must try. Chicken biscuit was also very good and creative salads. The food is very flavorful, you can tell there is a chef behind the menu with culinary chops. Both indoor and outdoor seating available which is super nice, it is very clean and well decorated with a minimalist touch. Coffee drinks are excellent with full barista type options. The area is great too, trails and views of the river, public access pier, etc. Highly recommend for a quick bite!
