Fantastic staff, quick service, many different menu options. Wonderful experience my first time there, and I will be back the next time I am in Elizabeth City.

LOVE breakfast? This is a hopping greasy spoon! NOT an enjoyable dinner experience:( After eating there so often, THAT was a downer. Great staff! Friendly. Fast paced service but personal for many! Try breakfast any time.

Food is very good.. I recommend the pancakes, if in the mood for breakfast (ps. the short stack is 2 'large' pancakes & very filling), or if in the mood for dinner then I recommend the hamburger steak (very juicy) which also comes with 2 sides + dessert.. staff is also very friendly. (No 5th star, simply because the place in serious need of an update)... good food, good price, friendly staff, but atmosphere is 'ehhh'..

I've been here several times. I like their breakfast. This visit was specifically for their special on Wednesday's since my family member wanted to try out their stuffed peppers special (only on Wednesday). I got the biscuit with bacon and cheese, scrambled eggs with cheese, and crispy corned beef hash. I liked all of my food. I love that they have corned beef hash. My relative reallyyyyyy loved the stuffed peppers (hamburger, rice, and red sauce). She said she would definitely order it again. This restaurant is a favorite of my family members. I go here about once every three months. It is a local hotspot. If you love good country cooking then stop by. It isn't great for everything but they do breakfast well, the peppers, and fried chicken for sure!!! Great service all the time. Friendly servers. FYI - we usually seat ourselves. Reasonable prices too!

I usually dine in here for breakfast, which is always great. Only place I know that serves bacon soft or crispy. This time we ordered a hamburger steak with gravy & onions to eat at home. It was without a doubt, the best we have ever eaten!
