Simply amazing, is what sums up uncle chucks. Down home food cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and the food was exceptional. Very seldom do I find a place so delicious I leave wanting more. Congratulations to owner Chuck and his staff for an above and beyond dining experience my family and I WILL return. Thank you uncle chuck for the full belly and big smiles.
I found this place on a search for soul food while working Hurricane Dorian for the local power company and what a find. Had the turkey wing dinner with mac and cheese. It tasted great!!! The customer service was good and quick. Dont know when I will be back in Elizabeth City but when I do I will definitely be coming here again!
A Hidden Gem!!! This food is amazing. U have to visit when u come. Hot and delicious just like home cooking. The mac n cheese is perfection. My pork chops were seasoned just right. My mother's chitterlings were delicious. A lot of people don't know how to cook like this; definitely coming back
Visited you establishment for the first time while bringing our son to Elizabeth City State University. The food was delicious and was very satisfied with everything. We will definitely come in again and try the buffet. Portion sizes were desirable for the price. The mac and cheese was the best we've ever had and the cornbread....delicious. Very glad to have found your restaurant. All the way from Greenville NC.
The food is delicious and the staff if great! They just don't give up enough portions of the sides. Example: I ordered cabbage and macaroni & cheese and they half filled them in the 3 section carry out tray. Usually, places are skimpy on the meat and not the sides.
