My husband and I went to this quaint little eatery. First of all, it's full of history as it used to be a carriage house and still has some of the original fixtures and doors. They pipe in music that allows you to create in your mind that you have transported to another time, or place. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were so delish! They were topped with pimento cheese, a slice of country ham and then pepper jelly. These flavors complimented each other nicely. Then, we got the smoked turkey sandwich and this was also very delish! The turkey helping was plentiful and loved that it actually tasted slow cooked and smoked. It had wonderful flavor without being dry. I'd order it again. We finished our meal by sharing a piece of Derby Pie. Being transplants to this area as my husband and I are both from Louisville, KY, it reminded us of home. Not many people outside of KY know what a Derby Pie actually is...chocolate, nuts and a perfect pie crust baked til it's ooey and gooey. We had such a lovely time at this little secret and gem in Elizabeth City.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to get sushi. Ghost harbor brewery was lit up in the alley so we stopped for a beverage. Then the bartender there recommended it...The menu was fairly limited on entrees. The burger was awesome...perfectly cooked medium rare. The chicken salad was also very good! We want to get back to try the pork chop. Seating was fairly limited. They had about 4 outdoor tables which was nice and live music on the Saturday went.

Quiet and casual dinner date night. Can't wait to go back when live bands are playing outside. Steak was superb!

Good beer, burger was actually cooked medium as requested. Atmosphere is very laid back. There is outdoor seating and live music on certain days of the week (usually Wednesdays). Bar area has tables available to drink and board games are available for free use. Had fun and will be coming back.

Excellent food and full bar. Staff is very friendly. A little bit on the pricier side but not bad. It's worth it though. for an appetizer, I recommend the fried green tomatoes. Take your significant other out for dinner and drinks. It will be worth it in the end. There is even live music on certain days. Keep up the good work.
