“Food was delicious and hot. Wasn't sure how their portions were so actually over ordered and had about 2 pounds of food to bring home. The Newland burger was very juicy and large. Shannon's chocolate cake was moist and the icing was really creamy. My boyfriend tried the lemon pie ????. It really had a great flavor. If you're that way you have to stop in. I know I will. Great entertainment on Saturdays.”

“The food here had a really good taste. Definitely nothing wrong with that and the free bread before the meal is a nice touch. Our waitress was also nice and attentive to taking care of us. So, why only 3 stars? I didn't think we got enough food. My son and I ordered the fried seafood platter. It came with one piece of flounder, 3 or 4 scallops, 5 or 6 small shrimp and 2 sides. I'm honestly used to getting much more food for the price. Also, it is not as "fancy" as some of the images may appear. I was expecting an inviting/quality atmosphere. Not at all! The building it's in was run-down. Restaurant was in the back and I was wondering if I wanted to continue down the hall to it. Sanitation rating was in the low 90s (can't remember the actual score). It says waterfront, which it is, but it's not a nice peaceful view. Disappointing ...”

“By far the most enjoyable place to have an amazing meal in our area. Jim has done an amazing job with the restaurant and has put together a menu that is second to none. I won't recommend any one dish on the menu, I'll recommend them all...everything is that good. Megan runs the staff and the service is always fantastic. This place is just the right mix of casual and classy...jeans or a three-piece, you won't feel out off place and you'll be treated like a regular on your first visit. “Went there with two friends just after work. I was worried sense I was paying the bill would be over the top. All three of us got sushi. I got one plate the other two got two plates each. Was some very fresh sushi, soooo good. The. I held my breath when the billed arrived I was very happy. It was t too bad at all just at $30.00 that is with tea for everyone. Very pleased. The staff is very attentive. Parking seems to be limited but it’s worth the trip and having something different was worth it.”

“The portions of food for price are very very good. We ordered two combination plates for two people and an order of wontons and had enough food for three days. And it was delicious. And quick. Very fast. Honestly just a really great experience. We've only ordered from here twice so far. Tried the sesame chicken, shrimp lo mein, shrimp roll, sweet and sour mix, cheese steak roll.. the cheese steaks rolls are the best. Absolutely delicious. Definitely try them if you like cheese steaks.”

“Excellent variety, helpful staff. Great place to have lunch, but the market side is a real gift if you are busy or in a hurry and need to take something to someone. The sweet potato ham biscuits are as good (maybe better) than my grandmother made. The take & go includes things for supper like chicken pie and lasagne (in feast, family, and personal size) but also party food like a cheese ball. I think Kathy's is worth what you pay for it.”
