“Really love the change of the sweet sauce! The toppings were fresh & very generous, cheese was nicely flavored & also a generous amount, the dough wasn't greasy like normal pizza. “Stopped at Seven Sounds on our way back to RDU, and this was a PERFECT choice for a beer-stop. The pictures you see from me and others on here do not do the view justice. They have spent a lot of time and effort making this a premier spot in Elizabeth City. Farrin took the time to give us a quick tour, and the entire building is really something special. They used to make whale oil in the building, so there's even some history there, too. EC was so nice you might consider moving here. Did I mention the beers were excellent? They had about ~12 on tap, and all of styles were impressive. Will return, and will go out of our way to come back. Thanks for making us feel so welcome ”

“I didn't give it a 5 Star rating, because you have to EXIT back through the pumps where it gets very congested. Especially since we have a gas powered motor home where we need a larger turning radius to EXIT. I wish Shell would put a couple of gas pumps with the diesel pumps. It would be so much easier for RV's to EXIT where the trucks do.”

“So Christian has been a friend for awhile. My wife and I ordered a side dish to take to a potluck dinner at a friend's house. These are the best home-style, traditional, real southern cooked green beans. They taste like my granddaddy's green beans. They are some great eating. I could eat nothing but a huge bowl of these green beans and be perfectly content.”

“Paid twice for same items. Clerk said my 7-11 gift card didn't work. I gave her the cash. At home I called 7-11 to see why card didn't work and found out the purchase amount had been deducted from my gift card. Clerk gave no receipt but a case was opened and was told someone would be calling me .This was in Oct. 2019. No one ever called me. In Jan. 2020 I received an e-mail telling me that my case had been closed. No one from 7-11 ever called even though I called 3 times to check on my case. I was given the same answer each time, someone would be getting in touch with me. I resubmitted my claim. Still waiting. Want my $9.92 back”

So, why only 3 stars? I didn't think we got enough food. My son and I ordered the fried seafood platter. It came with one piece of flounder, 3 or 4 scallops, 5 or 6 small shrimp and 2 sides. I'm honestly used to getting much more food for the price. Also, it is not as "fancy" as some of the images may appear. I was expecting an inviting/quality atmosphere. Not at all! The building it's in was run-down. Restaurant was in the back and I was wondering if I wanted to continue down the hall to it. Sanitation rating was in the low 90s (can't remember the actual score). It says waterfront, which it is, but it's not a nice peaceful view. Disappointing ...”

“20 minute wait..After the order was placed, they removed it from the menu, then they we're out of one of my side dish. Then it took so long to get our meal. Now, they are good and our server was good! So...as a very busy establishment, it is what you can expect. Still very good, very busy as people were still coming in. Maybe we will change our time on when to come there!”
