Lake Meister’s Sandwich Shop

The best sandwich in Lake Lure, hands down! I don't mean to overstep my place but I wanted to make a few recommendations if you don't mind.

With the recent improvement in relationship between the US and Cuba, how about adding a few Cuban recipes to the menu? Red beans and rice, fried plantains, tamales...but the real kicker would be a beautiful cuban sandwich. I even have a great name for it...the Groovin Cuban! I would think you could get all the ingredients you need at Sams Club so the prices could stay relatively cost effective.

Give it some thought, but either way continue the great work! I'd love to hear your thoughts on my idea as well! Take care!

Fantastic place to boat to on the weekend or stop by for a work lunch during the wee. High quality sandwiches and ingredients plus a variety of sodas and beer at the gas station make this a great all in one stop

I was hesitant getting sandwiches from a gas station, but my family told me how the gas station was owned by the person who rented us our pontoon boat and his son owned the sandwich shop. To support local businesses we went here for lunch, and I am SO happy we did! Amazing chicken salad sandwich and my family all loved their lunches as well! The service given to us by the shop owner was awesome, too. We might end up going there tomorrow as well. I definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely delightful! Went in to pick up a variety of sandwiches for lunch while on vacation. Every single sandwich was amazing, from grilled cheese to the salami. The menu is interesting and they create tasty sandwiches for a great price. Give it a try, you won't be sorry!
