Victory Kitchen

This is a great little diner that is open for only breakfast and lunch. The food is typical diner food done well. Our waitress was quick, attentive, helpful and friendly. The place is cosy, brightly decorated and clean. Portions were generous and the food was good. 2nd and 3rd visits...still good.

Pretty good breakfast and lunch place here in the Wyndham lake lure resort. The lady who served us was very nice and sweet. The kids and I ate for about $20.

11 of us showed up to eat at Victory Kitchen with no idea what to expect. The restaurant was full which was a good indicator that we might have chosen a good place to eat. Shortly after getting there enough tables cleared out that we could sit down, a table of kind strangers offered to switch tables so we could all sit together. The folks that run this place are very kind and helpful. Before long we had menus, drinks and coffee. The menu has plenty of options and can't imagine anyone not finding something they would like to try. Between the 11 of us we ordered several things: omelettes, french toast, pancakes, hasbrowns etc. Everyone in our group enjoyed their selections and portion size was perfect. Wish we lived close enough to come back often. We left there feeling like we had eaten breakfast at a friends house. If you are in the area you should stop in and try Victory Kitchen, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Great experience with great food and friendly service. There wasn't a lot of people there, but we did arrive on the late side of the breakfast hours. My husband enjoyed his omelet and I enjoyed my eggs and French toast.

Tip: If you enjoy southern sweet tea do not order tea from here... my husband put in several packs of sugar in his tea before it was bearable for him to drink. It tasted unsweet to begin with.

This is such a cozy place to have breakfast. Everything was delicious. All of the staff were friendly. From the moment you step in you smell the wonderful aroma of a home cooked meal waiting just for you. And that is how you are made to feel...that everything is made special just for you. Plus the flavors of all things is perfect.
