My Daddy introduced me to the owner which he spoke very highly of~ making the comment that the owner was one of the most generous and humble people he knew. & My father is a great judge of character. The owner had a decent conversation with my father and they spoke like old friends~casual, personal & exceptionally kind & warm, genuine southern hospitality. & very down to earth. & I have to elaborate, the genuine hospitality upon visiting this establishment meant more to me than they will ever know. It's a quaint, nice place for a father-daughter lunch. ???? This establishment is clean, prices are reasonable and the portions of food are satisfying & very generous. I would recommend stopping in for lunch and experiencing the delicious food, friendly, fast & exceptional service. & The option to dine in or take out is convenient. Either way~ you choose, you will leave very full & satisfied.”

“I had my birthday party at this restaurant recently. We were all accommodated in a side room with good wait staff, quick food delivery, and attentive service. The owner even came in and told us a story about his birthday and then we ended up saying happy birthday to and with him. All in all an excellent restaurant that never fails to please. I suggest the lasagna.”

“Excellent food. My friend ordered a chicken n noodle dish since she doesn't like rice, and I had the yummy-yummy roll and it was excellent. Waiter was very courteous and always checking on us. Great place. Only thing I wasn't so happy about was I thought my yummy roll would have just had eel sauce squirted over it, but it was drowning in it, and that is my only complaint.”

“This was a nice surprise to find in Mount Airy. Food came out very quickly, and was screaming hot so you know it was made right then. I had meatless golden noodles and it was very tasty. Had lots of veggies n I would have given them 5 stars if my broccoli would have been cooked just a tad longer, I enjoy still crunchy veggies but not half raw ones.”

“Fun lunch/ supper with the family. We were seated and drink orders were taken quickly. When drinks and chips with salsa was served we provided our food orders. There are 6 in our party. Food was prepared quickly and it was very good. We received adequate refills and checked on to gauge our satisfaction several times. All is all a good visit averaging $9 per person.”

To our dismay we were treated very poorly by the manager. She was very condescending and brought us a complimentary appetizer AFTER we finished our meal. However the food was very yummy!
