“We really wanted to like this place, and judging by the ambiance and location this restaurant had great potential. Unfortunately potential is all they had! It was July 4th with intermittent showers in the area. We initially went to the main hotel which is not where the formal lakeside restaurant in located, which is down the hill on the waters edge. What could have been a great dinner, was ruined by the chef who seems to have developed a tolerance to OVERSALTING everything! Otherwise the food was just uninspiring and blah. The location is great and we would certainly entertain staying at this charming hotel, but won't dining here again.”
