“We had a great night at the Magpie! Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. Our food was AMAZING. We started with the smoked wings (yum!). The fried Catfish and roasted chicken are both fabulous entrees! (If you want the ribs, go early!!) All the sides we tried, especially the fried okra, were delish. “Ordered from this location twice. First time was rather disappointing as the pizzas were not even cooked all the way. The crust was doughy and these cheese was only partially melted. I chalked it up to the possibility of a new line cook or just an off day in general. The second time, I placed a delivery order. The order showed up sooner than expected, however one of the pizza boxes looked as if it had been dropped at some point. The box was pushed in so hard that there was grease seeping through! Of course, when it was opened all of the toppings stuck to the inside of the box. In frustration I called and spoke with a manager. The gentleman was very apologetic and promptly resolved the issue with a credit for future purchases. For that reason I did not give a lower rating.”

“Great cheap food. Best biscuit I've ever had at a restaurant.... Bacon was a bit salty but that is a matter of personal preference I'm sure. Other than that great biscuits, but the hash bites are not good. Still overall very great place for the price.”
