And checking out I got snacks for my daughter, gas and happened to be a few cents short- the owner (man) got a dollar out of his personal wallet and gave it to ME. Ill never forget this.... “I stopped in here with a friend/business associate and we both really enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly and we went at lunch time and did not have to wait more than just a couple minutes to be seated. The place was very clean and the food was really good. As you can see in the photos attached to this review the portions they served were very healthy. I got the meatloaf plate which is really popular. And it was very good you can try it and you'll be very happy. It's not the traditional meatloaf with ketchup on top but serve with gravy and a healthy dose of mashed potatoes with gravy. My friend ordered the All-American Burger and as you can see in the picture it was a half pound burger. He didn't like pickles and a few other things and so the staff was eager to customize it the way he wanted which was nice. He really liked it, we had a great time. It's a very good environment to sit down and talk to a friend or business associate and we will definitely be going back. If you're in the area you can feel assured that you can stop in and have a good meal and have good conversation. ????”

“Cute spot with great atmosphere. Sunshine streams in through the windows in this cozy, little cafe. It was a happening spot with enough conversations around to create a sense of privacy for our own. The food (omelette) was below average, but the plating, atmosphere, and wait time made up for an otherwise unremarkable meal. While I didn’t enjoy the texture profile of microwaved eggs, I appreciated the attention to how they keep your wait time for food minimal and turn over tables faster as a result. Considering the popularity of the cafe, this is a great feature. They have little local gifts at the back of the line along the wall. Perfect for grabbing Escazu chocolates for a pal after a quick coffee. If I were to return, I’d order one of their toast options (they looked much tastier).”

“This locally owned coffee shop never disappoints. You ask, they know. The latte is hands down the best ever. Please skip Starbucks and give your dollars to this local business. They have many freshly-made breakfast options, as well as a number of pastries. Do your self a favor and order the sausage egg and cheese on croissant with their homemade chipotle mayo. FANTASTIC. Only issue would be the food takes a bit long to make, but it is because it is all made on demand, not heated up!”

“Honestly, if I'd rated this a few years ago, I'd have given it 3-4 stars. The system they have in place is very good and efficient, however, and it's improved over the years. The food is good. The guac is so-so. Unlimited refills on coffee after you buy it. The layout is nice for a breakfast place. It's definitely a good quick grab. Only thing is it takes a little longer to make their intense breakfast sandwich bagels and can lead to longer lines. Nothing serious, though.”
