I could tell the manager knew exactly how to handle this situation and responded perfectly. She knew how to ensure to the customer (myself) that the store could still provide anything and since the system would take some time to restart after losing power, the drink would be complimentary as to not take away and of my time. “The soups and sandwiches were really good and made from fresh ingredients. I really don't understand making customers walk three blocks in sub zero temperatures to get cash because they a) don't want to eat the 3% cost of a cc purchase or b) they are not reporting the income. This should just be a cost of doing business or give the customer an option to pay an additional .40 to .50 cents instead of pushing them out in the cold. In the end despite good tasting food, it left a bad taste in my mouth”
