Decent breakfast place with typical Raleigh breakfast fare. The biscuits were alright but the gravy was way too oily for my taste. It could've been improved a healthy addition of flour. The coffee was good and the service was great. The location is pretty cool and they have some interesting decor. If you're in downtown and want to avoid a chain, this is a good spot to try.

Mrs. Diane was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing but Mrs. Diane spirit uplifted my spirit! I love you and pray you have an abundance of peace and good health! You’re a shining star and my family will definitely be back! Big Ed’s hired a gem when they hired you! Oh, I can’t forget the host. She was amazing as well!

A very nice place to have Breakfast in Raleigh North Carolina. They have a few locations. Easy to see right off of Wolfe Street. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Parking on the street is available but it fills up fast especially on the weekends and at night. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Public Restrooms. We will definitely be going back...

Big Ed's is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast! You have to get there early to avoid the long lines, but the wait is worth it, and you don't really wait that long, it just feels like it because your hungry! I haven't had the chance to bring my family here yet but when they come later this summer I'm taking them so they can experience the food. It makes me feel like a little old lady is in the back cooking over a cast iron skillet. Get the hot cake. That thing is huge! I also love the spicy sausage and corned beef hash. Everything is perfect there. You won't be disappointed.

Big Ed's is one of my favorite places to eat in Downtown Raleigh. City Market's atmosphere is so unique with the cobblestone streets and limited parking (very few cars in the area) that it's a must-see for any visitor or new resident. There is a public parking garage right across the street from City Market so parking is not difficult, but it is something to be aware of. Big Ed's has great food at a good price in a well-furnished and adorable setting. Highly recommend the french toast!
