High Horse

BEST restaurant I have ever been to! Highly recommend starting with a drink because they are delish! The food was absolutely out of this world! There were so many flavors on the plate, and the portion sizes were good even without ordering sides. The atmosphere was great, the music was upbeat...can’t say enough about how great this place was. What I liked the most is that the chef actually takes a look at all of the plates prior to them being taken out to make sure they look perfect- so nice to actually see the chef being so meticulous and passionate about his work!!!!!!!

The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic for date night! The food was nothing less than incredible - food portions and amazingly seasoned to perfection. The service was on point and we were well taken care of. I will be recommending High Horse repeatedly for special occasions or even just a casual Tuesday. Order the lamb or ribs and you will not be disappointed!

We came up from Charlotte to celebrate our daughter's birthday at High Horse - we were not disappointed! The menu was ORIGINAL, the food was EXCELLENT, our Server, Rebecca, was OUTSTANDING, the ambiance was DELIGHTFUL! Even the bathrooms were BEAUTIFUL! The Manager, Adam, made us feel very welcome and appreciated. We enjoyed watching the view of the kitchen. The surprise dessert for our daughter's birthday was UNIQUE AND FUN!! (And delicious!!) The only teeny tiny problem we had was trying to see our food, as the lighting is very low. Which is a bit of a shame, b/c when I put my flashlight on the chicken, we could see how lovely it was! The colors of the vegetables on top, and the beautiful browning of the chicken! But I needed light to cut it... But, you can be sure, we will visit this restaurant every time we come to town - can't wait to see what's on the menu next time!

Where do I begin? The experience I had at High Horse was just that, an ‘out of the norm’ magical experience. The whole restaurant is super interactive with their guests from the creative drinks, amazing FRESH food (especially the mango mousse dessert) and all the way down to their fun bathrooms. One of the servers actually showed us magic and gave us something to remember our experience forever (thanks again, Cory). The whole ambiance was perfect and picture perfect. I will definitely be back soon!

Definitely the best new restaurant in town. Great dishes that blend unique flavors in such an accessible way. Nice and upbeat ambiance, great cocktails and very well priced. Not to mention superb service. The head (top) chef even sat down w us at the end of the meal to discuss the dishes and the Raleigh scene. Make the reservation!
