Chido Taco Mercado Style Taqueria

The pork tacos are some of the best I have ever had. The whole menu is affordable and there are some really unusual and fabulous options (octopus tacos). This is the best place in Raleigh for tacos, hands down.

Food was good but nothing special. I liked the decor inside. It was a bit pricey as I could get the same at a food truck for less.

Excellent quality and flavor, but a bit on the mild side.

The al pastor and chicken tacos were both delicious. Meat had great flavor, quality corn tortillas, and salsa bar had a lot of great toppings such as cilantro, onions, and limes. Black beans were good.

Only complaint would be the mild spice for both the meats and salsas. The meats had virtually no heat at all, while the medium salsa was barely spicy. I did not try all the salsas, so perhaps I missed the hot one. Will look for a hotter option next time I visit.

Otherwise the tacos were excellent and definitely better than most of the low quality flavorless Tex-Mex places in the area. Will be back for sure!

First time checking them out today. I ordered a burrito el pastor and was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the meal. Prices are fair, in my opinion, and in unison with the rest of the "street taco" type establishments. Good location and pretty unique styling on the inside. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

Great tacos in a bright, fun atmosphere. All the menu options and salsas looked great. I was there for lunch on a weekday and the food was ready quickly. Really friendly and helpful staff. I can't remember if they show how spicy some food options are, but that may be a good idea. I like spicy stuff so I wasn't disappointed (there were plenty of options that looked mild/medium there too).
